A highly-trained, New Jersey-based MD specializing in regenerative medicine and minimally invasive surgical procedures to address joint and spinal pain disorders, Dr. Serge Menkin is the Chief Medical Officer at The Center for Joint and Spine Relief. He has served in this capacity since 2011 and concurrently worked as Director of the Pain Clinic at the Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank until 2019. Dr. Serge Menkin has more than 17 years of experience and previously served as director of interventional pain at the NJ Spine Group, LLC. Furthermore, he has in depth knowledge of variety of advanced complex surgical techniques, including cervical/lumbar disc replacement and fusion.

Dr. Menkin utilizes percutaneous tenotomy and regenerative therapy to repair tendons and ligaments, torn menisci, and disc disease. He also uses a variety of ultrasound and fluoroscopically guided procedures, including joint injections, selective nerve root blocks, radiofrequency rhizotomy, and sphenopalatine ganglion block to treat a range of joint and spine conditions.

Dr. Serge Menkin holds membership with the New Jersey Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. He received his MD from St. George's University School of Medicine. He completed an interventional spine fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania's Penn Spine Center. He received extensive training in advanced interventional spine/joint therapeutic techniques and electromyography/nerve conduction studies.
